Thank God it’s Friday! 😎 And not just any Friday, but the start of a 3-day weekend!

Weather
⛈️ Rainy weather continues today, with showers and thunderstorms likely during the afternoon and evening.
Almanac: Sunrise/Sunset - 6:23/8:46 • Records - 89° (1975), 35° (1961) • YTD Rainfall - 27.5” (Normal: 24.5”).
Details: The forecast is for a 70% chance of rain and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. The coverage of rain and storms is much more questionable today than it was yesterday, however. Some indications at the time of this writing indicates that thunderstorms will have a difficult time firing during the day, before we finally start to see storms move through during the late evening hours. We’ll keep an eye on it and see how it unfolds as the day progresses. This weekend will continue to see likely rain chances (60% both days) but we’ll see far more dry weather than wet weather Saturday and Sunday. In fact, it could turn out to be a pretty nice weekend, though storms will be a threat from time to time. It looks like a line of showers and storms will impact our area Sunday night and early Monday morning, then clear out and leave nice weather behind for the holiday. So, all in all, the holiday weekend weather might be salvageable.
Further Out: Rain chances will start to diminish after Monday, and temperatures will be very mild for this time of year — only reaching the mid 70s each day for much of the week.
